This full-time opportunity offers 37.5 hours each week, working across two elementary schools. You’ll also lend your expertise by supervising a dedicated OTA who serves another nearby school. The collective caseload encompasses about 62 students, with the OTA working with many of these students two to two and a half days each week. Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid licensure and credentials to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in a school setting, preferably supporting elementary-aged students
- Previous supervisory experience or readiness to mentor an OTA
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, families, and fellow therapists
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to students as outlined in their educational plans
- Conduct assessments, develop interventions, and monitor progress
- Supervise and support the activities of an experienced OTA
- Maintain timely, thorough records and participate in IEP meetings
- Contribute to a positive, constructive team environment
