Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Oregon
- Previous school-based OT experience or strong pediatric background preferred
- Familiarity with conducting evaluations and delivering direct and consultative OT services within educational settings
- Ability to efficiently manage caseload across multiple locations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with staff, families, and students
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to approximately 12 students weekly, supporting their academic and functional goals
- Offer consultative support for an additional 80 students, guiding school staff and families in implementing OT-related strategies
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations as required
- Write the fine motor portion of students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed notes and ongoing documentation to support eligibility and progress monitoring
- Deliver services across 8 different school buildings within the district
- Integrate therapeutic techniques into classroom activities to support student independence and participation
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and allied professionals
