Key Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Comfort providing OT services across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt interventions to meet individual needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ needs to develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within school settings
- Collaborate with educational teams to integrate therapy goals into students’ educational plans
- Document progress and maintain up-to-date records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Engage with families to support student achievement and facilitate carryover of skills
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
