Key Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapist License required
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting or demonstrated ability to adapt OT strategies for educational environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and 504 plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Utilize a range of therapeutic activities to promote fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation
- Educate teachers and families on strategies to facilitate student participation in school activities
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and school team conferences
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with school and district protocols
