Key Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapist License
- Valid Arizona (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP FPCC)
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in schools is highly valued
- Familiarity with developing, implementing, and documenting therapy goals and progress
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with school staff, students, and families
- Passion for fostering student independence and functional success across school environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, in alignment with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop appropriate therapy interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to promote inclusive classroom participation
- Document evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide consultation and training to school personnel and families to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to team planning and problem-solving
