Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Occupational Therapist License
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)
- Experience delivering occupational therapy services within school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to creating inclusive, positive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and interventions to students as specified in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and set measurable goals addressing students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-help skill needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for comprehensive student support
- Maintain thorough documentation and case notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary teams
- Educate staff and caregivers regarding strategies to promote student independence
