School Occupational Therapist | Pittsford, New York

Key Qualifications:
- Current New York State Occupational Therapy license required
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation within a school setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach to working with children of varying abilities, backgrounds, and needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to K-5 students in accordance with established IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and special education teams to tailor interventions and strategies
- Conduct evaluations and write required documentation, including progress reports
- Support classroom staff with OT-centered adaptations and recommendations
- Assist in the development and review of IEPs and participate in team meetings as needed
