Occupational Therapist School Setting in Puyallup, WA

Qualifications:
- Valid Washington Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) credential required
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions to support students’ academic and life skills
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for student success
- Adapt and modify classroom materials or environments as needed
