What We're Looking For:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in Washington
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy settings
- Strong ability to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Comfort managing a caseload spanning elementary through high school
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Flexibility to travel between assigned schools and adapt to varying school environments
- Commitment to fostering students’ independence and functional participation in school activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop targeted treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Consult with teachers and staff to promote inclusive practices within classrooms
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support students’ growth
- Travel between 4-5 school sites, coordinating schedules and service delivery efficiently
- Advocate for the occupational therapy profession within the school community
