Part-Time School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Rifle, Colorado
We're seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school district in Rifle, Colorado for the entire school year. This contracted, part-time opportunity is ideal for an OT who enjoys working with a diverse student population and making a meaningful impact in a school setting.
Position Details
- Position: Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Location: Rifle, CO
- Schedule: 20 hours per week
- Contract: Full school year
- Student Population: Students of all ages (PreK–12)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Colorado Occupational Therapy license required
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider/Teaching License required
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and provide direct therapy services to students across all grade levels.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning through evidence-based occupational therapy services.
