Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state
- Previous experience delivering OT services in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong background with teletherapy methods and approaches to school-based therapy
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Sound knowledge of creating and implementing individualized treatment plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled onsite OT assessments and interventions to students as assigned
- Develop and monitor personalized therapy plans, adjusting strategies to meet evolving student needs
- Maintain clear documentation in compliance with educational and therapeutic guidelines
- Communicate progress and recommendations effectively with families and school staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, goal planning, and ongoing team discussions
- Contribute knowledge of teletherapy tools and resources when appropriate
