Desired Qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota
- Experience in school settings preferred; understanding of IEP process and special education compliance a plus
- Skills encompassing school-based OT, home health, and general OT healthcare knowledge
- Strong communication and adaptive problem-solving skills, comfortable interacting with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to elementary and middle school students’ needs, both 1:1 and in group sessions
- Develop, implement, and document personalized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Assess students’ functional skills and collaborate with teaching staff to support classroom participation
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate progress and strategies to families, caregivers, and faculty
