You'll start by working 3 days per week, providing services to a caseload of 26 students and dedicating extra time initially to help students catch up on missed services from earlier in the year. As those minutes are made up, your schedule will adjust to 2 days a week, maintaining a flexible work-life balance.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license (OH required)
- Prior experience or familiarity with K-12 school populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a dynamic caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group OT services to students across K-12 grades
- Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions in line with IEPs and student goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student development
- Maintain timely documentation and progress notes
- Adjust service delivery to ensure all required minutes are provided, particularly at the start of the contract
