Qualifications & Certifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Degree from an accredited OT program
- Experience with K-8 populations in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ motor and sensory needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and document progress
- Support and educate staff regarding OT strategies in the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely records for each student on your caseload
Position Details
- Contract term: March 16, 2026 – May 30, 2026
- Work 24 hours per week, spread over 3 days
- Serve students in kindergarten through eighth grade
- Pay starting at $55+/hr, with weekly direct deposit
