Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California license, or eligibility for licensing, as an Occupational Therapist according to California Occupational Therapy Practice Act
- Minimum of two years’ clinical experience focusing on pediatric therapy, preferably with children experiencing developmental disabilities
- Prior experience working within educational settings
- History of collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams and families
- Commitment to onsite service (no hybrid or virtual options available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand each student’s functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver hands-on therapy that promotes students’ academic access, fine motor skills, and independent functioning
- Consult closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure cohesive support strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation of progress and outcomes
- Adapt interventions to the evolving needs of students and learning environments
