Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy licensure in Washington State
- Prior experience delivering OT services in a school setting, particularly with elementary students
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and compliance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to maintaining ethical and evidence-based practices
- Must provide in-person services (no teletherapy/VOCO at this time)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Evaluate and assess students’ functional abilities and develop targeted treatment plans
- Write and monitor progress toward IEP goals, maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and families when appropriate
- Complete assessments, participate in eligibility determinations, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Remain current with best practices in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
