Ideal Background and Qualifications:
- Valid state-issued Occupational Therapist (OT) license (required)
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Capacity to plan and implement individualized and group therapy in alignment with IEPs
- Adaptability and positive attitude to meet evolving student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, develop, and deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions to students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support educational and developmental goals
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and IEP reports as required
- Educate and consult with school teams and families on therapeutic strategies and accommodations
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions to maximize student outcomes
