Occupational Therapist School Setting in Sparks, NV

This on-site role provides the chance to work with a diverse student population, delivering a mix of therapy sessions, evaluations, and assessments during the school year.
You’ll work closely with students and educators within a collaborative school environment, serving 3-4 school sites with a caseload of approximately 50-55 students. The contract runs from August 10, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with 37.5 hours per week. This position is ideal for professionals who are skilled at managing a varied schedule and are passionate about enhancing student outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Nevada Occupational Therapy license
- Experience with school-based occupational therapy (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively with K-12 students, educators, and families
- Strong skills in conducting therapy, evaluations, and assessments
- Successful completion of required fingerprinting and drug screening
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy to a caseload of 50-55 K-12 students across 3-4 assigned schools
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school professionals
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insight into student accommodations and modifications
