Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Nevada Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 students, balancing therapy, evaluations, and assessments
- Comfortable collaborating with faculty, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Proficient with documentation and progress monitoring for a diverse student population
- Time-sensitive credentialing required: must be able to complete fingerprinting and drug screening promptly
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services, comprehensive evaluations, and assessments to students in grades K-12
- Serve between 3-4 school locations throughout the academic year (site assignments provided ahead of start date)
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with district and legal standards
- Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to support inclusive practices and student success
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise to team decision-making
