Desired Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Experience delivering OT services in schools (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively with elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy for school-aged students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ needs to determine appropriate OT interventions
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans as part of IEP teams
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff
- Provide direct therapy and monitor student progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Document services and outcomes in accordance with school policies and state guidelines
- Educate staff and families on strategies that promote students’ independence and participation
