A unique opportunity awaits for experienced Occupational Therapists interested in supporting K-12 students across multiple schools in the northern Nevada area. This contract position spans the duration of the academic year and pairs you with a diverse caseload—providing vital therapy, evaluations, and assessments that help young learners reach their greatest potential.
You’ll support 3-4 campuses with a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, blending direct therapy with consultative services. Collaboration with educators and families will be key as you create and implement effective plans, while remaining flexible to the dynamic environment of school-based practice. All work for this role is on-site.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Occupational Therapy license in Nevada
- Experience delivering OT services in a school setting, with comfort engaging K-12 students
- Skill in conducting assessments, developing goals, and documentation
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and oversee a moderate caseload across multiple campuses
- Must complete required background checks including fingerprinting and drug screening prior to start
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to diverse student populations
- Perform thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment strategies
- Maintain accurate records and comply with education and health standards
- Foster positive communication with parents, teachers, and school teams
- Adapt flexibly to assignments across 3-4 school sites
