Assignment Details:
- Duration: ASAP through approximately January 12th, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: About 75 students (not all requiring direct services), providing a dynamic and varied day
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Current OT license in South Carolina
- Prior school-based experience working with young children or early elementary students
- Ability to build supportive relationships with students, families, and faculty
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable mindset for a team-driven school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services and consultative support
- Collaborate with educational staff and participate in IEP meetings as appropriate
- Monitor student progress, adapt interventions, and document outcomes
- Support inclusive education by promoting student independence and participation in daily activities
