Virtual Occupational Therapist - VT
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based telehealth and in-school services. This position is located in Shaftsbury, VT, and supports K-12 students with individualized therapy needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services through telehealth and in-person sessions within the school setting.
- Deliver therapy interventions aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for approximately 15 students.
- Participate in Extended School Year (ESY) programming.
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
- Monitor and document student progress in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain compliance with professional guidelines and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in pediatric school-based services.
- Proficiency in delivering telehealth occupational therapy services.
- Skilled in evaluating and treating students across K-12 grade levels.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 15 students effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills supporting multidisciplinary educational teams.
- Availability to begin immediately and continue through August 16.
