Virtual Occupational Therapist - Vermont
A contracted Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services is sought for a part-time role supporting students in grades K-12. This position involves delivering Occupational Therapy (OT) through both telehealth and direct school-based interventions in Wilmington, VT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide OT evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing therapy services to approximately 15 students across K-12.
- Deliver services during Extended School Year (ESY) programming and throughout the standard academic calendar.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to conduct assessments and therapy sessions as needed.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student needs and optimize functional outcomes.
- Document services in compliance with regulatory requirements and client goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license suitable for school-based practice.
- Experience providing OT services within a school setting across a K-12 student population.
- Proficiency with telehealth delivery methods and technology.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 15 students.
- Understanding of ESY programming requirements.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
