Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid occupational therapy license for California
- Experience delivering OT services in school, home health, and teletherapy settings
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with educators, families, and other professionals
- Familiarity with assessment, individualized education plans (IEPs), and student progress documentation
- Passion for working with a diverse school-aged population (TK-12)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ functional skills and needs across academic and home environments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in coordination with IEP teams
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services both in-person and, as needed, via teletherapy
- Track student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to support success
- Provide education and support to teachers, staff, and families to ensure generalization of skills
