This role begins August 17, 2026, and wraps up May 20, 2027, providing you with a set schedule for the academic year. While the district warmly welcomes professionals from beyond the region, onsite presence and relocation to the area are essential to cultivate strong relationships with students and staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to a consistent caseload of about 35 students
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to address students’ educational needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to promote student success within school routines
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed, ensuring compliance with IEP requirements
- Travel between assigned schools—all located just blocks apart—for efficient service delivery
