- Strong understanding of fine and gross motor skill development
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Experience with documentation and case management in educational settings
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in PreK-12, including both small group and one-on-one interventions
- Evaluate students’ needs, strengths, and areas for growth in fine and gross motor domains
- Develop and monitor progress on Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Deliver services via teletherapy when required, utilizing interactive and engaging modalities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to develop strategies supporting classroom success
- Educate teachers and families on exercises and supports to carry over skills
- Maintain timely and accurate records of treatment plans, progress notes, and related documentation
