Occupational Therapist School Setting in Wasilla, AK

Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy licensure for Alaska
- TYPE C Certification required
- Experience in a school setting is highly desired
- AK-certified candidates strongly preferred
- Ability to fulfill approximately 1000 minutes (16 hours) of student contact per week
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to in-person service delivery only (virtual/VOCO is not an option for this placement)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide school-based OT services to students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations according to student needs and IEP requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and participate in team meetings
- Stay updated on best practices and Alaska regulations for school-based therapy
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student growth and participation
