In this dynamic role, you’ll deliver occupational therapy to students, working both one-on-one and in group settings to address diverse needs. Preferred background and certifications:
- Valid Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license (DSPS required)
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Experience with school-based therapy, home health, and healthcare OT settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Understanding of IEP process and familiarity with educational documentation
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in a middle school environment
- Work closely with educators and parents to integrate therapy recommendations into the classroom and home
- Accurately maintain documentation and assist in creating or updating IEPs
- Support students in achieving goals related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive behavior
