- Ability to effectively manage a caseload and maintain thorough documentation
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary and high school students, adapting interventions to support diverse developmental needs
- Conduct student assessments and develop individualized treatment plans and goals consistent with IEP guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to implement strategies that foster student independence in school routines
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as a therapy resource
- Educate school staff and families on integrating therapeutic strategies into learning and daily activities
- Adjust service delivery and recommendations to remain in compliance with operating standards and caseload requirements
This contract role offers a well-balanced weekly schedule of 37.5 hours across five days, spanning from mid-October through late May.
