School Occupational Therapist - Westerville, Ohio

Embark on a fulfilling opportunity as a long-term substitute Occupational Therapist supporting special education students in a vibrant educational setting. This in-person, contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact from mid-December 2026 through the end of March 2027.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement strategies that maximize student success
- Conducting assessments, writing progress reports, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Supporting students in the classroom and other school environments to promote functional independence and access to the curriculum
- Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Ohio Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong background in school-based OT practices and familiarity with IEP processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
