You'll enjoy a structured schedule of 37.5 hours per week throughout the academic calendar, starting August 12th, 2026, and concluding June 4th, 2027. In this role, your expertise will support children and adolescents in achieving their educational and developmental goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active North Carolina OT license required
- Experience with school-aged populations preferred
- Proficiency in direct and consultative occupational therapy services
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Adaptability to work across multiple school environments as assigned
What You'll Do:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine students’ OT needs
- Develop targeted interventions and set measurable objectives in collaboration with other professionals
- Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services within classroom, small group, and individual settings
- Maintain timely and accurate therapy records, progress notes, and required documentation for IEP meetings
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, and caregivers to promote optimal student outcomes
- Support students in developing functional skills for academic participation, self-care, and independent living
