Key Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Valid BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of acute-care hospital occupational therapy experience
- Strong communication and patient-engagement skills
- Ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients across a range of acute care needs within the hospital setting
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with facility standards
- Educate patients and families about occupational therapy care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and therapy teams to optimize patient recovery
