This dynamic role places you in a collaborative rehabilitation unit, granting you invaluable exposure to a variety of occupational therapy practices, leadership styles, and patient populations. Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00am–5:30pm)
- Every third weekend rotation
- Holiday coverage rotated with permanent staff
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
- Active California OT license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
- Open to first-time travelers seeking a rewarding new assignment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive OT services as part of an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Collaborate with rehab team members (PT, OT, Speech) and management to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Contribute to unit improvement initiatives and support daily operational goals
- Uphold hospital policies, maintain accurate documentation, and support a positive patient experience
