Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Occupational Therapy experience in a hospital setting
- Current and unrestricted California Occupational Therapist license
- Active BLS certification (AHA approved)
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
- Adaptable and collaborative in multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to deliver effective patient care
- Document patient progress and update treatment goals according to hospital standards
- Educate patients and families on strategies for continued functional improvement
