Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00am–5:30pm
- Every 3rd weekend rotation
- Holidays integrated into perm staff rotation
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of related Occupational Therapy experience
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
- Active California OT license required
- Current BLS certification
- Open to first-time travelers eager to learn and contribute
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered occupational therapy services in an acute care hospital setting
- Collaborate closely with a team of physical therapists, speech therapists, nurse aides, and other healthcare professionals
- Communicate progress effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate documentation utilizing Cerner EMR
- Participate in an 8-hour floor-specific orientation to ensure comfort and readiness
- Wear a provided polo-style or burgundy button-down shirt, with solid dark pants (no scrubs)
