Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, orientation every Monday
- Must be available for a firm start on 6/15
- Required to work 1-2 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
- On-call, holiday, and call-back opportunities provide a dynamic schedule
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license and eligibility for Iowa licensure
- Previous experience in hospital-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
- Proficiency with EMR systems (EPIC experience a plus)
- Flexibility to float within the discipline across local campuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy in a hospital environment
- Assess, plan, and deliver individualized patient care in collaboration with a clinical team
- Document all patient encounters accurately using EPIC
- Participate in on-call rotations and lend support to other local campuses as needed
