Skilled Nursing Facility Occupational Therapist in Melfa, VA

- Strong supervisory and organizational skills for overseeing COTAs
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized plans
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20-25 students
- Complete all evaluations, assessments, and necessary documentation in a timely manner
- Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to enhance student outcomes
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Attend meetings as required and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
