Qualifications:
- Current, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in California
- Previous school-based experience preferred, especially within elementary populations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt and respond effectively to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy support services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist students in developing functional skills for classroom participation, self-care, and motor development
- Document progress and maintain detailed, timely records
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the overall support team
