School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Santa Clara, California

Qualifications:
- Active COTA license in California required
- Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Comfortable adapting to different campus environments
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Support elementary students in accessing their curriculum and developing essential skills
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for student progress on caseload (number of students to be determined)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the evaluation process as needed
- Adapt activities for diverse student abilities and learning needs
This contract position begins in August and extends through June, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule for the school year. You'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships and make a meaningful impact across multiple campuses in the East Bay area.
