You’ll work full-time, roughly 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, traveling between elementary, middle, and high school campuses. This fast-paced role is perfect for a dynamic, flexible professional eager to make an impact on students’ independence and participation in school activities.
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Missouri
- Previous school-based experience preferred, though strong clinical COTAs will be considered
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to different school environments
- Reliable transportation for travel between assigned school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy plans developed by supervising OTs to support student IEP goals
- Facilitate activities and interventions that promote student progress and independence
- Maintain accurate documentation of student sessions and progress notes
- Communicate regularly with school staff and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Support a positive learning environment across all assigned campuses
