Essential Qualifications:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Missouri
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt and work efficiently across different sites and among diverse student needs
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with teachers, therapists, and families
- Capable of managing schedules, documentation, and caseload responsibilities effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist supervising Occupational Therapist in delivering therapy services and implementing IEP goals
- Provide direct and indirect support to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Document session notes, progress updates, and collaborate on evaluations as required
- Foster student independence and participation in academic and functional classroom activities
- Move between multiple school sites as needed to fulfill assignment requirements
