Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) (required)
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with children, educators, and families
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes and supporting diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ educational plans
- Evaluate and document students’ functional abilities and therapy needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Adapt interventions to diverse school environments in Valparaiso and Portage
- Track progress, maintain records, and report outcomes in line with district policies
