Key Qualifications:
- Active Indiana COTA license and certification (as outlined by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency)
- Previous pediatric experience is a plus
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and supporting individualized student goals
- Reliable personal vehicle required for travel between multiple school sites (mileage reimbursed)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with school staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute Occupational Therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising OTR
- Complete required documentation promptly and accurately
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging therapy activities and materials
- Work collaboratively with school personnel to monitor and support students’ occupational therapy progress
- Contribute to a positive educational environment by adapting to student needs and fostering inclusion
- Carry out duties as assigned by the OTR
