Qualifications:
- Current Indiana licensure and valid certification as a COTA through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
- Prior pediatric or school-based experience is preferred
- Reliable personal vehicle for travel between multiple school sites (mileage reimbursement provided)
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement student-specific occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist (OTR)
- Accurately and promptly complete documentation as required by the district and OTR
- Assist with the setup and facilitation of therapy activities, use of materials, and overall service delivery
- Collaborate with school staff and contribute to multidisciplinary teams to ensure students’ occupational therapy needs are met
- Support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by delivering prescribed interventions that foster student progress
- Carry out additional duties and tasks delegated by the OTR
