What You’ll Bring:
- Active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license and certification through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
- Experience or sincere interest in pediatric and/or school-based settings
- Reliable personal transportation (mileage reimbursement provided) for travel between multiple school sites
- Proficiency in supporting and carrying out goals outlined by the supervising Occupational Therapist (OTR)
- Commitment to collaborative, student-focused practice, especially with students working under IEPs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work onsite, providing direct service based on OTR-designed plans
- Assist with therapy activities, materials, and classroom adaptations that enhance student participation
- Complete accurate and timely documentation for each session
- Collaborate closely with school staff and special education teams to align supports and strategies
- Maintain flexibility in addressing other duties as assigned by the supervising OTR
