This onsite contract opportunity near Monon, IN runs from August 2026 through May 2027 and offers a full-time schedule—7.5 hours per day—supporting PreK through high school students across several locations.
In this position, you’ll implement individualized Occupational Therapy treatment plans crafted by the supervising Occupational Therapist (OTR). Responsibilities include maintaining timely documentation, assisting with therapy activities and materials, collaborating with dedicated school staff, and providing thoughtful support to students' unique occupational therapy needs, particularly those with IEPs. Flexibility is key, as you’ll travel between multiple schools using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided), ensuring consistent, high-quality care wherever you’re needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Current certification from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
- Pediatric experience, especially in a school setting, preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites
- Personal vehicle for travel between schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and adapt treatment plans and activities as directed by the OTR
- Maintain thorough, prompt documentation in line with school and therapy standards
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to address student goals
- Support students’ functional and academic progress as described in their IEPs
- Participate in team meetings and fulfill other duties assigned by the supervising OTR
