Step into a dynamic educational setting as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ lives from PreK through high school, working directly with a supportive special education team. You’ll play a key role in helping students access their education by implementing individualized occupational therapy programs.
What You’ll Contribute:
- Carry out occupational therapy plans designed by a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR)
- Provide direct support for students’ therapy goals as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success
- Document treatment activities and student progress efficiently and accurately
- Prepare therapy materials and assist with adaptive activities
- Travel between multiple school sites (mileage reimbursement available)
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervising OTR
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license and current IPLA certification
- Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to travel among sites
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
