Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in Indiana, with current certification through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation for travel between sites (mileage reimbursed)
- Confident collaborating with school staff, students, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Carry out Occupational Therapy interventions as outlined by the supervising OTR, adapting to a varied caseload
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Organize, prepare, and assist with therapy activities and necessary materials
- Collaborate as part of multidisciplinary teams to ensure student occupational therapy needs are met
- Support the delivery of IEP-mandated services and help foster students’ academic participation
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervising Occupational Therapist
