You will work a flexible two-day schedule (Monday–Friday), covering 14 hours per week, with daily hours from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch). You’ll collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ functional goals and help ensure their educational success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Indiana Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Prior experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong communication and record-keeping skills
- Ability to develop and follow individualized treatment plans
- Comfortable working with a diverse student population
- Flexibility and reliability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy or COTA services to students based on IEP goals
- Assess student needs and document progress
- Collaborate with educational staff, classroom teachers, and families
- Support students’ access to curriculum and school participation
- Maintain accurate therapy records and timely reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings as required
