Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for school-based practice
- Prior experience with middle school populations is highly valued
- Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and IEP development
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills for determining special education eligibility
- Collaborative approach to teamwork and student support
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services at two onsite middle school buildings
- Conduct initial assessments and re-evaluations for special education qualification
- Participate in building-level team meetings
- Support and develop MTSS and IEP plans, working closely with educators and families
- Consult with staff to help students generalize skills across classroom settings
- Maintain documentation and compliance with district and regulatory requirements
